WE ARE THE PRODIGY™

The Prodigy™ is a 12-week intensive program focusing on nurturing the dedicated athlete, preparing them for the next level of their cheer career. Our focus is to help your athlete excel and level up, preparing them to not only to be able to make their high school or college cheer, stunt or acro teams, but also qualify for full ride scholarships! We seek to help your young athlete flourish in their skill & technique, and enrich them as human beings! 

The Prodigy™ is open to ALL ATHLETES of ALL LEVELS at the middle school, high school and college levels. We are accepting ages 8 to 22 years of age. Athletes younger or older than the age range will be considered on an individual basis. Please contact us at info@coachlain.com for consideration.

As the main point of The Prodigy™ being to instill within your athlete an unwavering sense of dedication and discipline, attendance to ALL 12 sessions is MANDATORY.

The mission of The Prodigy™ is to produce growth, instill confidence, and assist the next generation in discovering their greatness. Created out of a recognition that NorCal cheer athletes need something greater to aspire to, The Prodigy™ is a program that will challenge them physically but also nourish them psychologically; a program that offers them a higher quality of training, pushing them to advance in their technical skills and mental resolve. This program is designed for the athlete who wants more for their cheer career, those who have expressed interest and desire for something greater! If you or your athlete seeks to cheer in college or on a high-performing all-star team, or to simply level up their skill to be able to shine on and add value to their middle, high school, or college team, The Prodigy™ is for you!

ABOUT THE PRODIGY™

The Prodigy™ is a 12-week intensive program focusing on nurturing skill, mental performance & toughness, and educational & self discipline in the dedicated cheer athlete. We seek to help them build confidence, prepare them for the next level of their athletic career, and equip them with the tools to become more well-rounded human beings.

The Prodigy™ takes place once a week for 4 hours and combines intensive tumbling training, hyper-focused conditioning and stretching, and nutritional guidance. We seek to build up the ENTIRE cheer athlete, which means we focus not simply on their physical progress, but also their mental dexterity, emotional intelligence, self-awareness and worth, and educational versatility. At the end of the day, this is a performance-based program and focuses on forging our athletes into well-rounded individuals who are able to perform at the highest levels of life!

CURRICULUM

The Prodigy seeks to nurture emotional intelligence, mental dexterity, performance-based confidence, and self-awareness through a carefully crafted mixture of training devices. Over the course of the 12 weeks, your athlete will be responsible for completing 6 program units that focus on a different aspect of their emotional, mental or personal growth.

In addition, they will be responsible for completing conditioning and nutritional homework to help improve, inform, and strengthen their physical performance.

Each athlete will receive their own curriculum binder with all of the necessary worksheets, references, and exercises for the 12-week program. Each athlete is required to turn in their binder at the beginning of each week’s class.
